What we collect

We only collect what we need to run the café website and respond to you:

• Name, email address, phone number and message when you send a contact, cake, catering, wholesale or franchise enquiry.
• Cake or event details you choose to share, such as occasion, size, date and dietary notes.
• Technical information created by the website itself, such as your cookie choice.
• If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics may collect page views, approximate location, device type and how you arrived at the site. We do not use this to identify you by name.

Why we use it

• Enquiries: to reply, discuss an order and keep a record of what you asked for. This is so we can take steps you request before a contract, or because we have a legitimate interest in answering customers.
• Website operation: to remember whether you accepted or refused analytics cookies.
• Analytics: only with your consent, so we can see which pages are used and improve the site.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We use a small number of providers to run the website:

• Email delivery for website enquiries (Resend).
• Website hosting (Vercel).
• Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies. Google may process this data in the United States. Google’s policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as we need them to complete your request and for ordinary business records. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics settings, usually up to 14 months. Cookie choices stay in your browser until you clear them or change them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or object to certain uses. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it. To do that, email info@deliciouscorner.co.uk.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
